RV Parks near the Vegas Strip?

I have looked at several on the Boulder Highway that are relatively cheap, but wanted to get some reviews from some of you who may have visited. I would like to stay somewhat close to downtown, at least within a 30 minute drive. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

We stayed at Circus Circus a couple weeks ago. Nothing fancy but conveniently located for only $59 a night.

We were at Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort a month or so ago. Outstanding property. It's a few blocks off the southern section of the strip.

The Oasis off the southern end is very nice, easy in-and-out, lots of pull thrus, several pools, hot tub...etc - out of ear-shot of the strip noise, but so close you're there in 5 minutes.

We stay at the Oasis at least twice a year. We have done other places but keep coming back due to location, security, and dog walking. Plus there must be at least a dozen outrageously good places to eat nearby.

If you want close to downtown, try Main Street - Casino, Brewery, & Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas. It is just a parking lot with full hookups a couple a blocks from Fremont Street. They have "shade islands" within the park. Easy walk to downtown.

For the O/P.. I have stayed there too.. they have 3 kinds (or had when I was there) parking. Back in (Cheapest against the wall)
Nose to tail (Two rigs on a single LONG pull through)(
And Pull through (most expensive)

They were owned (Think they still are) By one of the Casino chains (Harrahs?) and run a shuttle to the other company properties both on and off the strip.. This makes it your #1 choice in my book .

Circus Circus used to be the Las Vegas KOA but I understand i tmoved over to Bolder (Sam's?) Did not know CC still had a campground.. Stayed there for a week or two too.. Liked it, Right ON the strip.

Did you stay there back when it was a KOA (just looking for a comparison)?

We've stayed there a few times mainly because our stays are short and we don't tow a car, so being able to walk over and pick up a cab has always been super convenient for getting around.

We stayed at the Oasis RV park was the best in our view. We stayed there and then moved to the Las Vegas RV Park over by Sam's Town. The Oasis was far nicer park. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and it is very close to the strip. We will stay at the Oasis next time we are in town. They have so much to offer compared to others.

rv parks near the veags strip?

The Circus Circus KOA closed last fall as CC was going to do some reconstruction. The KOA moved to and took over operation of Sam's Town which needed upgrades.

Circus Circus RV Park is now operated by the hotel. It is essentially a parking lot for RVs. Nothing fancy, just blacktop. They told me they are not getting rid of it as they make as much from the RV park as they do from their room tower. We stayed there in April. It came in handy.

They also said they booted KOA as they did not want to cooperate and close down for a few days during a rock festival.

The Oasis does look nice.

Too bad about KOA taking over Sams. Goodbye to $17.00 per night full hookups
