X2 for the KOA with a word of caution. Asphalt roads bake the paws black. Other than that it does have a large dog park and sites are decently sized.

If you like a lot of activities, try Rincon Country West (or East, for that matter). We will be there in February.

We’re at the KOA for the month. It’s our 4th year to be here Jan/Feb. It’s super nice. Kind of pricey, but worth it. The weather is great.

And this time of year, it’s not hot enough for the asphalt to be an issue. Mid-Summer maybe. But not this time of year.

It’s a popular choice and can be difficult to find a site for a lengthy stay. We book our month a year in advance.

Typo. I meant that the asphalt MAKEs the paws black. Not Bake. unless it is Summer.
