Rv parks Upper Peninsula Michigan
Looking for recommendations for a nice RV park preferably close to Pictured Roks Nat Lakeshore. We have a 65 ft rig and prefer 50 amp. Thanks in advance!

Munising Tourist Park. It is right there three miles from the docks, and has some full hookups.

We stayed at Wandering Wheels a few years ago. I would stay there again. 50 amp and cable.

It's been a long time since we were there, but Gitche Gumee RV Park and Camp Ground east of Marquette on 28 was very nice when we were there about 2007. It's right across the highway from the beach and the sites were very long and not very close together. The price was right at the time.

Lake Fanny Hooe Resort and Campground in Copper Harbor is super. Walk to town and buy yourself a nice smoked whitefish at the fish market.

X2 on the Munising Travel Park for a close RV park to the Pictured Rocks.
If you want to spend some time in the Keweenaw Peninsula, consider the Lake Linden Village campground on Torch Lake. Beautiful area to explore including visiting a couple of the old copper mines (Quincy & Delaware) and the Calumet historic district.

There are some terrific adventures and sights to see in the UP. I too recommend Aune Osborne in the Soo. Parking close to the huge lake freighters as they slip by is a neat experience. If you want some recommendations just pm me and I will send what I used to do when I lived just across the river on the Canadian side.

That's a great park but no sewer hook ups (dump station only), also it's a long 110 mile commute to "Pictured Rocks".
