Rv site near duke hospital

Any first hand knowledge of rv parks near or close by the university hospital that can handle a big rig?

Jordan Lake State Park. Probably about a 30 min. drive.

Campground at NC State Fairground is nice. $25/night for full hook-up. Avoid rush hour traffic time 6:30-9 and 4-6:30 and drive takes about 20-30 min tops.

Spring Hill RV Park would be my recommendation, as I mentioned on the other forum.

Have you checked with the hospital to see if they have any RV parking? Some hospitals do, although I doubt they provide hookups.

This past September we visited our grand daughter who works there and she gave us a tour around the hospital and Duke campus area. It is pretty congested, even driving a big rig there would be a challenge.

After checking out the area, I have decided to go to the fairgrounds grounds in Raleigh, since the weather is getting messy I think I would like the comfort of full hook up, my little dog will like that too.
Thanks for the in put

The horse complex at the NC fairgrounds has some new sites up on a hill as you pass the lower ones. We have full-timer friends stay there and they like it.
