RV Storage in the NW SF Bay Area or Sacramento Delta

We're camping in S. Cal now, headed up to San Francisco next week. When we finish out camping there I'd like to store the RV for a couple of months and pick up where we left off in July.

Does anyone know of any reasonably priced storage facilities for RVs?

I wish the allstays app would have a filter for RV storage. Usually we just call park after park to find the ones who offer storage but, gawd, that's so tedious. 90% of the responses:

Them: "Storage? For your RV? No we're an RV Park!"
Me: "Yes, I know I'm inquiring to see if you offer storage."
Them: "What? I said we're an RV park not a storage facility!!"
Me: "nevermind"

The way we camp is we keep heading in a certain direction then store when we're done and pick up where we left off a few months later... rather than waste time and gas getting the RV back to base each time. There's got to be a better way to scout storage facilities.

The Petaluma KOA charged $70/mo for my 36ft Southwind and is probably as cheap as it gets in the bay area. (707) 763-1492

I see storage all the time when I am not looking. Then when I am looking, not so much.

My version of that allstays app does have a rv storage filter in the advanced list. The list with the amenities like hookups, playground and stuff. It's just parks with storage and not stand alone places that I can tell. Maybe a few dealers that do it too.

Although a little bit outside your described area, just east of Sacramento, Covered RV Storage (website with the same name), all spaces covered, secured, but more expensive than Petaluma KOA, $135/month.

We just left ours at Baze RV Storage: Home Page

Rates were reasonable and the people are very nice plus it is not far from the Sacramento Airport. Flying back down the end of June to take it to Sonoma for the Nascar races.

Another choice in the south bay.

They charge about $56 per month and have a dump station as well. Very nice and helpfull people that run the sgorage facility.

Don't know if it's still there but we used Valet Storage in Sacramento for a couple of years a few years ago. Totally inside storage in a large warehouse. Super safe and super people. They had propane and wash facilities on site. Kept both our motor home and boat there. Wasn't cheap though!
