RV travel and fly fishing

Hello all,
I am a new member and also new Motorhome owner. I want to travel to PA next spring to fish trout streams that are on RV campground property. My rig is a class A and 34’ long. Can any members give recommendations of places to stay. TIA.

Little Pine Creek dam just north of Waterville has a campground. You can fly fish Little Pine Creek and Big Pine creek. You could also go up to Slate run in just your car from there.

Slate Run is fly fishing only and barbless hooks.

I don't normally share my fishing holes unless there is good Whiskey or good Cannabis involved in the exchange, but since I'm not planning on being there again anytime with in the next few years I 'll turn you(and everyone else) on to Tionesta Creek in northern PA. The section I like is along SR 666 near the Minister Creek Recreation area. ( 41.6151962,-79.1534073,151 ) There is a designated primitive campground that your bus won't fit into but there are a few creek side unofficial site to the west of Minister creek that you might be able to squeezed into. Better though to camp outside the area and use a toad to gain access. The Tionesta has always been a productive trout stream for me with the predominate Salmonoid being Brookies. Orvis "Yak caddis " works well there in the fall.

Thanks

I appreciate all the responses I received on fly fishing locations of campgrounds near or on trout streams.

As you expand your range check out Herkimer KOA in NY. You'll have to make a pilgrimage to Yellowstone...it seems to be one of the most popular areas for fly fishing. New England is a great area to explore for fly fishing. Colorado...

Stayed in Herkimer KOA a couple times. There is a fun diamond mine across the road from the campground. My wife has a small diamond from there.

I got a diamond in the first rock I struck. I couldn't believe it. The young lady in the store said it was a good find.

The river that runs through the campground is beautiful with nice back in spots along it.
