Sacramento
We are looking to spend 1 night in Sacramento in May but are having difficulty finding a place to park our 34' travel trailer. Cal Expo is all blocked out due to a large fair, and another park called Sacramento Shade doesn't get good reviews on Tripadvisor for campers longer than 20'. Not finding anything other than those parks, which is kind of amazing to me. There are some further out but due to some commitments we have in Sac that night we need to be right in, or very close to Sac.
Wondering if Walmarts in Sac allow overnight parking. Anybody know or have other recommendations?

We have stayed at the KOA, West Sacramento a couple of times. It is pretty convenient to the downtown area.

It is remarkable how limited it is here. I don't know of any Walmart that allow parking in Sacramento but I haven't really checked aside from a few local ones.
I have heard good things about the Mark J : Mark J RV Park
This used to be a KOA and seems nice: SacWest RV Park & Campground - Home
Option I can't comment on but looks nice: Imperial Manor: RV Spaces
There is a truck stop that you could probably overnight park here:
Sacramento 49er Travel Plaza Home

We like Mark J but I remember it being adults only & sites rented by the week. Take a look at Flag Coty in Lodi. Bit south of Sac, but it's a good facility. Could be great if they hadn't made the mistake of initially planting African daisies between the sites. They don't take foot traffic at all. Makes it look unkept. I've suggested they replace it with artificial turf, but . . .

We've stayed at the KOA and it's ok. Not much else in capital city.

We used to stay in the KOA West and it's fine.
We joined the Elks and now stay at the Carmichael Elks lodge.
