Trying to locate a nice RV park within an hour of Sacramento (need to go into Sacramento on business a few days). Not having much luck and what I find have rather bad reviews. Suggestions appreciated.

SacWest RV Park & Campground - Home This was a KOA park until 1/1/15. We have stayed there a few times visiting family in the area. It was a decent park, but nothing special.

Stayed at SacWest in Oct. 2013 for a week while my son was getting married in old town Sac. Convenient to I-80 exit and 15 minutes to old town.

Booked a place in Auburn, Auburn Gold Country RV Park . Looks like about a 30 minute drive to my client and looks to be a "ok" place. Thanks for the replies.

For future reference & for others . . .
Expo is ok. Flag City to the south is good. If your stay is measured in weeks, Mark J, which is a renovated mobile home park is what I would recommend.

I winter in Jackson Rancheria Casino Rv park. With "Free" Players discount card 10% off $45 back in and $50, 70 ft pull thru. and one free day every 10 nights. Free shuttle to casino and $5 meal discount. Best park in central Ca and is sister park to Seven Feathers, large heated pool and two Jacuzzis. Great buffet! One hr to Sac on good roads. Flag city Cleanest nice park we have found. Close to Interstate 5 but not to close.
