Anastasia is a beautiful state park. Having the beach near by and being near the attractions is wonderful. The down side of Anastasia is that it's relatively primitive, ie the sites are not all very level, there is no sewer hook up and I believe they only have 30 amp service.
The sites are fairly wooded which I like, unless you want to get satellite reception.
Not trying to knock the park, you just need to know what you're getting there. We've camped there since my kids were small in everything from tents to travel trailers to MHs. Have reservations there in August.

I should add,, When Darling Daughter and I visited Anastasia State Park had the no vacancy sign out and rigs trying to get in.
Since we were in a Dodge Charger,, Not an RV, and not stying, we had not tribble...but I kind of wonder about the class C behind us.

ST. Augustine
OC Whites is a really good restaurant right across the street from the marina and by the Bridge of Lions. This is one of our favorite places to visit. Anastasia Park is nice, but without reservations well ahead, you will not get in.
Great city with lots to see and do. We live 1 1/2 hrs from there and visit several times a year.

We love Anastasia SP and its proximity to town and the beaches. One thing: the St Augustine Amphitheater is practically inside the park and can be very loud on concert nights (all outdoors). Check their schedule if you don't want the loud music. And make sure you visit the lighthouse. Alligator farm is interesting and just outside the park entrance.

We're in Stagecoach RV for 2 nights, and it's nice. Spaces are very spacious, lots of room. Close to shopping and market, right down the street and a Cracker Barrel around the corner! We did the Old Town Trolley tour and loved it! We were on it all day...hop on, hop off, did a lot of walking, drove over to the lighthouse, beach, etc. Loved it!

Indian Forrest Campground right outside of St. Augustine was nice. Easy in and out. Visit the St. Augustine Light House as well as the Fort. Both nice places.

It was about 13 years ago. It was a flat area. A few trees and ok size sites but things change. I'd love to go back and explore more

Bryn Mawr is okay for big rigs but is not deluxe, just a place to stay.
