Salem Oregon in June

We are going to a wedding in Salem Oregon in June and have looked on the Internet for camp grounds. Was wondering if anyone had personal information or experiences in the Salem area. We are going to stay four days around June 17 and have a 32 class A.
Any help would be appreciated.

Friends of ours who fulltime, stay at Sun Dial Mobil Home Park in Salem for the summer. I have never heard any major complaints about it from them.

Another thought would be to stay at Silver Falls State Park, about 30 miles NE of Salem. Good access and roads, and if I remember correctly, electric and dump station. Beautiful woodsy park, lots of hiking, but not very electronics friendly!!! Can be wet and rainy, but that's Oregon!!!

There are a couple Elks Lodges that have RV parks in the Salem area. Usually $25 a night.

You have to be a member though.

There are two wonderful State Parks within 30 minutes of Salem. My first choice would be Silver Falls State Park, beautiful scenery in a tucked away Northwest Wonderland. The other is Champoeg State Park, which is about half way between Salem and Portland out in the valley on the Willamette River. These parks have full hook ups and space between you and your neighbor which other parks won't have.

Premier or Phoenix. We've stayed at both and they are excellent...just depends or where you want to be.

Say HI to Dennis Snyder for me. He was my boss and we were members of the Ft Vancouver GS till they started doing all their rallies during the week and my late wife and I were both still working plus had two grandsons in school. Just didn't work out for us even though we liked the group except for one members ankle biter that bit me!
Have run into Don once in awhile too.

I live in Keizer, which is right next to Salem Ore. I wouldn't stay at Silver Falls St park. It's about a 35-40 min drive but the road is rather twisty in places.
Champoeg is still to far out.
My choice would be Premier RV resort. You're only 5-8 mins away from down town Salem.
Premier RV Resorts has locations in Redding, CA; Eugene, Salem, and Lincoln City, OR; and Clarkston, WA - Welcome
