We have reservations here for Memorial weekend, places are filling up fast allover Florida!
We have never been here but can't wait to see the springs, rent a canoe and just sit back and relax.
Who else has been here?
We ended up with site #27 - not many left to choose from!

We were there in August. The springs were great, especilly in the August heat. Take a snorkle and mask is you have them. We also took a drive to Alexander Springs. THat was very nice too. It's worth the drive-- seems like it was 0-25 miles. Next to the Salt SPrings Park is Salt Springs Marina. We rented a boat there ( 14 foot Carolina Skiff with a 4 stoke outboard) I think it was about $30 for q/2 day... more than ample time to go down to the end of Salt Spring run to the St. Johns. On the way down, we sw deer, raccoons, otters and an assortment of birds. If you wnat to rent the boat, I'd recommend you reserve as soon as you can -- they only seemed to have a few rentals.
