Sam Houston Jones State Park - Lake Charles, LA

We spent out weekend out at Sam Houston Jones State Park in Lake Charles, LA. It was our 1st time at this park and would highly recommend it to anyone. Kids had GREAT time.

Our campsite had a few visitors last night around 7:30pm. 5 deer and a raccoon.

Sorry for the blurry picture but it was very dark at night and the shutter speed on my camera slowed down to capture without a flash.

Stayed there three years ago and loved it. This year we spent four days in Lake Charles but unfortunately it was at Maritn Truck Center the Freightliner dealer. We did drive over to the park though, entrance if free for seniors 62 and over.
