San diego help - urgent
We're heading into San Diego this weekend. Didn't know it was Comic-con. Need a RV park that takes dogs & kids. Class C rig. Generator problem. Can't boondock. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

I think campland usually books up pretty quick. I was going to ask... San Diego is pretty big, is there a specific area you need to be in? Further from the water or downtown / gaslamp seem like your best bet. Maybe Jacumba (kinda rural), La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Santee, Lakeside, Ramona & Julian are very scenic.

I live in San diego. You might try the KOA in Chula Vista or Chula Vista Marina and RV. These are about 15 minutes from downtown but are very nice. Santee lakes is also very nice. Campland on th Bay is large but sites are ver, very close to each other. Good luck

I was gonna say Chula vista but we used to call it chula-juana... some parts are not too nice.

The KOA in Chula Vista is really nice. We were just there last week of June. It is very clean and well maintained. They are kid and dog friendly. Also lots of shade!!!

Another recommendation for Santee Lakes.

If KOA and Chula Vista are full I'd suggest you look at San Diego County Parks & Recreation. They have several parks with RV facilities.
