San Diego Metro KOA

Has anyone stayed at San Diego Metro KOA, what did you think of the park?

Am staying here now. Staff are helpful and, for most part, very nice. School hasn't started yet, so it's crazy-busy on weekends -- keep that in mind, especially if you show up on a Fri, Sat, or Sun without a reservation. It's located in a neighborhood, but you have easy access to two freeways. The park existed decades before the freeways were built, so unfortunately a few spaces get more road noise than others.

Did you have any specific questions?

Sweetwater San Diego

We haven't tried the KOA but love the county park at Sweetwater Lake near Bonita. Upper level is fairly new, everything is clean and nice. Great little water playground for children at the lower level.

We lived in KOA for a couple of years and it is pretty good. As mentioned Sweetwater is also good as is the Chula Vista Marina RV park. All are good, kind of depends on personal preferences.

I have stayed at Chula Vista KOA and loved it, close to San Diego Bay and lots of tall shade trees.
Also Chula Vista RV Marina is very nice and well maintained.
