RVers visiting Santa Barbara, CA will find a real shortage of RV sites. But over the hill at Lake Cachuma, is a County Park with lots to offer. An old park, but will accomodate most all length Rvs. Lake access, and the Santa Ynez wine growing area nearby. Drive in to Solvang, a Danish community with lots of shops. All within about a half hours drive.

Just spent three nights south of Santa Barbara on PCH (Hiway1) at Rincon Parkway. This is a no hookup, place where you park right next to the ocean. $25 per night. Fantastic location. About 20 some miles south of SB and about 6 or so North of Ventura. There are also a couple of parks at each end of Rincon. One is called Hopson Beach. No reservations, but there was a lot of turnover each day we were there. Showing up in the morning is best, as people leave.
