We stayed at an older KOA. I do not recommend it. Really tight and unlevel sites and you have to go under a bridge that is about 13' 5" to get there if you are coming from the north.

Our front tires were off the ground in order to get somewhat level and our slides were about 10" away from our neighbor's slides when deployed. It was an overnight stay so no big deal but we would not go there again.

We have stayed at a couple others, but we also feel that Santa Fe Skies was the best we found.

We also vote Santa Fe Skies. We've stayed in others also, but this one is the best available.

The last time we went we stayed at Cochiti Lake Corps of Engineers park just southwest of Santa Fe within an easy drive. Very nice large sites, some F/H/U and a lot cheaper than the RV parks. The campground office has all the info for touring Santa Fe and they recommend parking at the bus depot west of town and taking the bus for various stops. We did this and it was simple to do with no hassle of parking. The bus stops at all major areas and the schedule had the attractions at each area. We would definitely go this route again! Have fun.
