We just stayed on Hilton Head Island at the Motorcoach Resort, which is about 45 minutes away. High end accommodations and the ride to Savannah was real easy. We took a trolley tour in Savannah. Beautiful city rich in history.

Check Hardeville RV, just north of Savannah in South Carolina. About a 10 minute drive, nothing fancy but clean. Nothing for kids, no pads but full hook ups. Quiet reasonably priced

Depending on what your taste is, I suggest Hilton Head motor coach resort. Great accommodations, friendly staff and people. Beautiful grounds, nice pool and tennis courts along with nice pond if you like to look at the water. Close to beaches and bicycle trails everywhere. Easy ride to savanna of about 45 mins. You can also take a cruise to savanna from Hilton head. We just did this for Easter and had a great time. There is another thread about this you should read. It's in the who's camping where this weekend section.

Our Carolina Campers group stayed at the Savannah KOA in March and had a great time. The folks were extremely nice. The park is on a lake with geese, swans and other birds. Not sure why the reviews were bad, we have stayed there 2xs and would go there again.

Skid a way rv park

I would suggest that anyone interested in seeing Savannah, GA should look at Skid a way RV park. Great facilities, fair price, just around the corner from all the important sites to see in Savannah. Look up their site on the internet.
Regards,
JimB
