Try searching this forum. There was a thread regarding Savannah earlier this year that suggested a couple full amenity CGs. We do not need the frills and stay in Hardeeville,SC just minutes from downtown Savannah. Convenient to Hilton Head, also.
Also, refer to campgroundreviews.com.

We always go to "Hardeeville RV Park". It is actually in South Carolina but it is just a short drive (about 5-6 miles) into Savannah. It is a nice quiet park but a little shy on the extras. No pool, no laundry, and no bathrooms. But, they are a Passport America Park, so for $21.00 a night one can have 50 AMP and full hook-ups. They do have excellent Wi-Fi though, and everything about the park is neat and clean. Level pull thru's for the most part.

+3 for Hardeeville. Very convenient to both Savannah and HHI. We have stayed there 4 or 5 times.

If you like state parks with large sites and can get by without sewage hookups, Skidaway Island state park is close in and a great park. Of course they have a dump station but not sewage at each site. Also a great place for bike riding.

How close do you need to be to Savanaha?
My Daughter lives about an hour south of that city, Actually worked there when I was there but, that has changed.
So we headed down to the Darian Exit, (I think that is 49) and about 3 miles N.W. of the freeway (Jsut turn toward the Outlet mall and drive on by) is Cathead Creek Ranch RV park.. Very nice preacher runs it, and the Cowboy church that is on the property.. (You may like that church).
Rates were normal for the area, No trees yet (It's is a new park) but they are working on it, Very friendly, Small, (like 25 or 30 sites) Petting zoo, Cowboy church. Fishing (Stocked, private, pond so no license needed, free to campers).
3 Miles from Darian outlet mall (Ok so that's not much of an outlet mall), about 20 minutes from (Can't remember the town, starts with a "B") and an hour from Savanaha, or less, depending on what you are driving (I was driving a house).
Brunswick, that's it.
You will be about six miles from historic fort King George, and perhaps 5 from the ocean if you park there. The Reverend can give you a lot of local information.

You want to spend THURSDAY night in the Catshead creek ranch RV park (And thus go to Cowboy Church, take a dish to pass cause in this church they believe in "Praise the lord and pass the cassrole". As it happens, I think that is a good thing.
