How about Blue Springs State Park located in Orange City Florida. It is a great spring. They say no alcohol but as long as you are not flashing it around they want say anything. Great place for a swim or canoeing, it is crystal clear. They rent the canoes there on site. It is pretty close to Orlando as well.

I wish it was July 06' because that water
sure does look inviting.

Blue Springs is a very nice State park but it is almost 50 miles from Sea World .... If you want to be a little close try Tropical palms or the KOA in Kissimmee ... with TP being the better choice IMHO .... and, of course, there is always Fort Wilderness in Disney !

Will also be planning days at Daytona and
the space center. Is TP in a good location
around these also? Looked at the map for
Blue Springs and Kissimmee and there is a
difference in location on the drive to and
from.

Daytona and Space Coast are a couple of hours East of Orlando, depending on traffic, lots of traffic ..... If you stay at TP consider taking 417 - Greenbelt around Orlando ... it is a toll road but very light traffic compared to I-4 ....
There are several campgrounds in and around Daytona also .... either way each is a good day trip ... If you have never been to NASA Kennedy Space Center, do so, it is a truly amazing tour ....
