The maiden voyage of my new travel trailer is planned for July 8th to 10th. I haven't gotten a new tow vehicle yet (I have found one) so want to stay within 2 hours and fairly flat as I'm slightly overweight for the Kia. Two friends are joining me and between us we have 6 dogs. All are seasoned campers and only my Standard Poodle is over 10 pounds. We would like to have electric and cable if possible. This is the only weekend we can all get off work together. Any ideas?

Six dogs - won't most campgrounds have a problem with the number of the dogs, not the size?

Thanks Roy, just booked a site at the Newburgh KOA. It's less than an hour away, great for a shakedown trip. Love the fenced dog area and called to make sure no limit on pets. I had planned to go to Brialee near Hartford but it happens to be pro wrestling weekend, not my cup of tea. Panning for gold at the KOA, that works.
