Seattle to Phoenix

I'm moving from Seattle to Phoenix in a few days and I'm looking for some suggestions/help. I'll probably boondock somewhere the first night but want to stay somewhere around Moab, Utah the second night. I've got a 45' Traval Supreme coach and I'm looking for an RV spot with 50 amp power.

I'm trying to plan this so I can make it to Moab right in the middle of the trip. I know there's a lot of experienced travelers here and I'm looking for suggestions on my best route and a place in Moab. Thanks for your help.

Portal RV Park in Moab. Call now, it is very popular. After that, they are all about the same from my experience. Stay away from the KOA, the most un-level campground I have ever seen. Canyonlands right in town would be very tight for your rig but a great place. You can walk to most places to eat - I like that part a lot. Never stayed there but drove through, was concerned about the sizes of sites

BTW, Seattle to Moab in 2 days will be two 8+ hour drives - depending on your normal freeway cruising speed

Thanks for the info. I'm not going to push myself on the first part, I'll do it in two 8 hour days easily. I might try to do the last leg in one day though.
