can't about that one but I use to take my kids to a place called Lenox marus on lake degray.. at the time it was primitive sites the only things there were the bathrooms (no showers) a boat ramp and a place by the restrooms to fill jugs of water... and a ranger would come by every few days thats it

This is my secret camping spot at my happy place. So far we haven't had to pay the fee that the drunks in the washes have to pay, but the BLM has been messing with us more & more over the years, even though its supposedly not their land.

(oh, btw... was that fire pit like 50 yards from your motorhome? cause it looked really far away)

That spot looks awesome!

Yeah, there was a spot in the grass there where somebody had previously had a campfire. Easily 50 yards away from the coach, near a nice sandy penninsula on the riverbank. In keeping with my strict "levave it better than I found it" rule, we gathered up wood and rocks from along the river bank, surrounded the firepit with the rocks, and burned the wood. It was very bucolic, and quite satisfying.

My spots I camp at aren't secret and are usually full hook ups.

However.....There is no cell range at these spots so my work can't find me, so to me it's like they are secret.
