Hi, We are looking for an RV Park in Sedona AZ to spend a week or so.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We would like to use the Sedona site as our base and take day trip from there.
Thanks in advance for your help.

We like the Woody Mountain Campground in western edge of Flagstaff. Higher elevation, cooler, wooded, and close to Sedona, South Rim of Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, etc. Good central location to see most of Northern Arizona.

There is a small well kept RV park on the East side of Camp Verde called Zane Grey RV park (about 25 miles from Sedona) We have stayed at this park 3 times most recently in Oct of 2006. Sites are wide, bathrooms are well maintained/clean, same for the laundry area. It is a good home base for Sedona, Jerome, Montezumas Castle and other sites. It is out of the way, quiet, and comfortable.

Hi Gary,
Just wanted you to know that we extended our stay in the Sedona area and we booked 3 nights at the Woody Mountain Campground & RV Park.
Thanks for the heads up on it.

The town visitors bureau hands out coupons for a free nights stay at the RV resort in Sedona. One was for 3 nights, you had to attend a presentation for buying a lot though.
