Sept. 2010 Trip to Wyoming

My wife and I are going to Wyoming in the middle of Sept. and want to tour up near Gillette, then down to Casper around the 20th. We will be leaving from Phoenix.
Interested in no cost camping and also RV parks with reasonable fees. We will be in our '88 Itasca Sunflyer 28' and towing her Tracker.
So areas of the middle to the east side of the state would interest us the most. Want to see Devil's Tower and meet a friend in Gillette.

Points of interest in these areas would be nice also as we are not going to be in a hurry. Heard there are some type of gemstone areas?
Any help with specific parks that would not mind our vintage rig or roads in the forests that would have dry camping would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mark

Well, got on the web and found some sites in Casper that I would like opinions on before I make a reservation.
Fairside Trailer Park, Fort Casper RV, Casper Koa.

Concerned about noise from Trains and highways, any problems taking a "vintage" coach to a park. All should be close to resturants, grocery stores, etc. Any problem with having to make a minor repair?
