Our Family is having a reunion in Sevierville at the Hidden Mountain Resort. They also have a Class A campground call The Dell RV Resort. WE have a nice 32 Ft Class C which is not eligible to Camp At Their Campground. If You are familiar with this location please advise a nice Campground nearby that might allow us to stay . Would like to be close to Hidden Mt if possible. Thanks for any help.

We have stayed at River Plantation RV Park several times, iRV2 even held its National Rally there in 2007. There's plenty of space, ample sites, and it's close to the main drag running through Sevierville. Not far from The Dell on Apple Valley Dr either.

Howdy!
The last time we were in the area we stayed at "Waldens Creek Campground" located in Pigeon Forge. Nice small, very clean and friendly campground located right next to the creek. Will stay there again when in the area. It is also a Passport America CG but may not be able to get the discount due to the time of year, fall.

We've stayed at Creekside in Pigeon Forge. It's small but nice and clean. The people that run it are friendly.

You might consider renting a cabin Hidden Mountain Resort | Rentals | Rates | Smoky mountain log cabin rentals in Sevierville TN . At $105/night it is expensive, but the alternative is to buy a class A, since that's all hidden Mountain allows.
I know Pigeon Forge CG's are too far away, but I think River Plantation, mentioned previously, might be convenient.

Thanks for Your input. Sounds like either buy a class A or stay at River Plantation. How many miles apart is Hidden Mt. and River Plantation? Thanks

The fall car and rod show going on for the next 2 weeks in Pigeon Forge normally fills up everything around. Good luck

We have lived in Pigeon Forge for 27 years and there are a lot of great campgrounds. Elkmont in the national park. If you want to be in the city we suggest River Plantation in Sevierville or Up the Creek in Wears Valley. Also Pine Mountain RV Park in Pigeon Forge. We also just posted a blog about The Smokies and Pigeon Forge.

If there is still time, there is an Outdoor Resorts on route 321 in Gatlinburg. This is on the same side (East side) of the Pigeon Forge area that Hidden Valley is located on. Consider this resort. The traffic is bad enough that you may want to consider staying on the East side of the Pigeon Forge area. Outdoor Resorts contact number is 800-677-5861.
