We are doing our first Shakedown camping trip this weekend, in our new to us 2001 Newmar MADP 4095. We have owned it since Jan 22nd and this was my first break from work (I only work 1 full time and 2 part time jobs)

We are at Kars Park in Merritt Island, FL about 1/2 hour from home. We didn't arrive till about 5:30, took longer to get organized than we had planned, but everything went really well for our first setup. Auto levelers are a blessing. 50 amp hookup metered out well. The water pressure could be better. Both slides worked great. Just chillin in front of the TV for the evening. A little tired. Plan to do some wade fishing tomorrow and the future son-in-law brought us his Golf Cart to play with. That will be helpful, since the wife recently broke her foot. I hope others are enjoying this weekend as well.

Enjoy your weekend. Just a few projects to complete this weekend. Still too cold for camping in the PNW.
