Live 10 miles from it, camped there many times, one of the better state parks in the state. It can handle basically any type rig and rates are fairly inexpensive. You might also want to try Big Bear Creek which is where I park mine. Great rates and also adjoins the great Shawnee Forest.

Some are full and some are partial hookups. They are all basically back in the forest.

This past June we stayed at Stonelick State Park just east of Cincinnati Ohio. Nice small park close to Cincinnati and Kings Island Amusement Park. My wife said she would like to go back to that area again. She liked the Cincinnati Zoo and Kings Island. I liked the Air Force Museum in Dayton.

Was looking to do a 2 week trip to the Smoky Mtn. along with a few days near Cincinnati.

Did a drive thru of Caesar Creek State Park.... Lori (NLOVNIT) said there were no trees there. She was right, there was only one site that had partial shade at best. Looks like they bulldozed all the forested ridges around the lake to make the campsites.

We also did a drive thru of Cowan Lake State Park which I really liked. Nice shady / paved sites. Both of these are 20-30 minutes from Cincinnati.
