Has anyone ever stayed at Shorehills Campground in Boothbay Harbor? I hear that it is very nice, we will be there on the weekend of the 4th? Any comments good or bad?

We have stayed there several times. Nice litle place not too far from the Harbor. No pool or kiddie stuff. Wifi is limited. Stay close to the office if you need it.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't think we'll need the wifi, but it will be nice to have it just in case. We are up by the office, one of the last sites left for that weekend.

Ed & Steph,

We stay at Gray's ocean front campground near Booth Bay Harbor. We have been coming here for 4 years. We have been workamping since I retired.

Shore Hills is very nice. There was another nearby campground called "Little Ponderosa", unfortunately it closed this season. At one time there were 6 campgrounds in this (Booth Bay Harbor region) area. Now there are only two.

If you have a chance come by and say hello to a fellow iRV2er. Grays campground is more primitive and more rustic. We can only accomodate 40' rigs in a few sites --see www.GraysOceanCamping.com. We too are fully booked for the holiday weekends. The scenery here is spectuclar with the lobster boats pulling their traps right in the front yard on a daily basis.

Have a great holiday in this region

Max, Thanks for the invitation, I will do what I can to come over and meet you. I looked at some pictures, looks like a great place for a week or more. I will talk to you soon, and get some info from you, so we don't get into the wrong site
