A possibility is a campground near Bear Lake, which is near West Point. Minimal research indicates it's primarily a tent campground, and big rigs can't turn sharp enough to cruise around the campground. Your 37-footer may be too big. But check it out, just in case. A campground on the water, within a coupla hours of The City, is probably not an economically viable business plan. So plan on going a bit further to get out of commuting distance of The City. For example, there is at least one campground in Pleasantville, NJ just out of Atlantic City, that might meet your needs. It's close to the water, but it's not on the water.
The Northeast PowerStrokes club held a few annual ralleys near Lake George, north of Albany. I made one or two of those. Our campground was not actually on Lake George. A quick Bing search indicates there are probably not any good RV parks actually on the water at Lake George. One that's close is:

Of course, Ticonderoga is more than a coupla of hours away from The City.
