Thinking about visiting Savannah Oaks in my HR class a 28rb. Never been there - any help appreciated.

Stayed there about two years ago on the way to Florida. Campground was nothing special -- at all -- but the people were friendly, and it was a reasonably good location for sightseeing around the area. We were in a 37' Georgetown Class A at the time, and had no trouble moving through the campground or parking.

Enjoy Savannah, and check out Tybee Island while you're there!

We stayed there as well. It was clean and quiet for the most part. The only reason we decided to stay there was the fact that they offered a free shuttle service between the campground and town. We did not have a toad with us at the time so it was worry free to have the shuttle there.

We prefer Skidaway Island State Park. Big sites and 50 amps. No sewage but handy dump station.

We were there in October and stayed at Rivers End on Tybee Island. Real nice campground, people were great. Great location. Great Rates. Also try Bernie's for great place to eat.

x2 on Rivers End! Stayed there for a week in March of this year and had a great time. Also try Spanky's on the beach for some very good comfort food!
