Some questions about RPI:
Holidays and special events excluded, what percentage of the time do you get the booking you want?
Can it be used on travel days to book a campsite for that night?
Thanks

We have booked around 50 times in the last 3 years. There have been very few times that we could not book. Recently we tried to book at Turtle Beach near Manteca, CA and were told all but one of the days were approved so we booked at another park a few hours away. If you book over a holiday weekend usually there is no problem like 4th of July weekend We booked a place in Colorado for 10 days no problem getting in. I try to book using their online or phone service at least 2 weeks out. Overall I like RPI there are places that add a " resort fee" usually 2 or three dollar more for 50 amp or cable etc. But 10 to 13 bucks a night hard to beat. You can check out their website which has a map of nationwide and Canadian resorts if you haven't already. I have never booked the same day, but have booked the day before without a problem ,you may have issues during peak holiday times on short notice.
