Silver Springs, Fl. area with kids?

Which park in the Silver Springs, Fl. area would be the most fun for 7 to 12 year old kids??

When were you planning on going as the water park area is not open yet. The camping in the state park is nice with canoe rentals available. It is a nice area to canoe down with small monkeys hanging out along the way. As I said the water park is not open yet and when it does it will be weeks after that before they open the water slides.

We will be at Wilderness RV Resort in two weeks and it does have several pools but not sure what else for the young ones.
