It will be important to watch highway & weather conditions. This morning (2/6/14) Medford TV weather says expect 6 or more inches of snow above 2500 feet so if correct you can expect snow on the highways in the Siskiyous and northern California. Roads are clear at this point in time but ????

1ciderdog, thanks.. Looks like we will try to get to Seven Feathers Sunday, then over the pass Monday, to Corning. No appointments so I can stay somewhere extra time if needed.. Thanks

Since you show you are in Portland I assume you have been watching the news. Here in Woodburn it is snowing fairly hard and we have about 5 inches on the ground. It actually looks worse around Salem however, if you can get South of Eugene it looks pretty good. I just can't see driving 100 miles in snow just to get out of here. It does look like it will warm up by Sunday so you may be all right. Stay safe!!

I went south out of Grants Pass Friday to Redding and back up Tuesday. Weather going down was OK but winds were very strong most of the day. Coming back on Tuesday was no problem at all. I hope you made it safely through the passes.

We got out of Portland Monday. the storage lot was icy. My towing light plug-in was ice packed.. Once we got on the highway it was easy travel, just sloppy. The pass was clear. In Bakersfield now headed to Needles today and 84 degree weather. I am going to work on my sun-tan.
Thanks to all..
