Sites near or around Legoland, Ca

Hoping to plan a trip to Lego land near San Diego, any one know of any camp or RV sites within the area? Looking at last week of December

Carlsbad State Park is one I know of. I have never stayed there so not sure what it's like.
Carlsbad SB
We have stayed at San Elijo State Park several times very nice. However, it is about 12 miles south of Carlsbad. The snack bar, Bulls Taco is great, very good tacos.

San Diego RV Park and Resort Beach Camping Campgrounds and Resorts | Paradise By The Sea RV Resort

Stayed there last month when we took our grandson to Legoland. Nice park with nice pool area.

The Elks have a nice RV area in Oceanside but you have to be a member of the Elks to stay there.

We have stayed at Mission bay rv resort a couple of times. Don't let the name fool you it is just a big parking lot but it is safe and quiet. Some of the spots back up to bay. It's not cheap but the area is very nice. About 2-3 miles away from Sea World and Lego land is 30-40 min. away. a easy drive north.

Paradise by the sea is a nice resort we stayed there a couple of years ago. However, don't stay in the back row of sites if your sensitive to noise, they back up to railroad tracks. The train runs pretty regular during the day.

It's a very popular camp ground, still wouldn't think it would be full late December.

Forgot to mention if your looking for a site with power, most sites at San Elijo don't have power or water. Might try Carlsbad or South Carlsbad State Beach. There's also the Silver Strand further south.
