Snow Birding

We have a 2006 Winnebago Adventurer and we are in the middle of our first snow bird trip. We landed in Gulf Shores this year. We love it here but are considering South Padre Texas or Clear Water Florida areas for next year. So where do you all like to winter?I need internet to be cabled to the rv site as i will be working and we love to ride bicycles. So please comment on these also if you care to. Thank you

We stayed near Gulf Shores last Jan and it was too cold for us and we had 2 ice storms. This year we stayed near Mission TX. It was a lot warmer and the area really caters to snow birds with lot's of activities. We may stay near Brownsville next year, but want to stay away from the corrosive salty ocean front.
At Mission Bell RV, some RV's had a local internet service run into their RV's and they said it was pretty cheap to have.

I've been a snow bird for 10 years.

The first winter in Ft Myers, the next 8 years in the middle Keys, and this year, and next, in the Miami Homestead Fl. area.

I don't want to be cold.

About mid summer, I will search out RV parks in the Brownsville area and check out their reviews. Another review source is to post on this forum for Brownsville RV CG recommendations. It's how I discovered Mission Bell RV.

We are in the Mission TX area. Canyon Lake RV Resort. We're in the middle of farm fields but only 1/2 mile from Walmart and other retail outlets, the best of both worlds. They have "free" internet, but for business purposes I would recommend a internet provider. I'm told it's $20 a month. Good Luck!
