What's your definition of "reasonable"? It may be difficult finding a CG in S Fla for an extended length of time if you don't already have reservations.

Hi deansneed,
Welcome to iRV2. Like Rockwood27 posted, your into 4 digits per month + electric for a nice south Florida CG in the winter. So,
1. What is your rig
2. What are you looking for:
2a. amenities
2b. ocean, swamp or inland setting
2c. trees or no trees
2d. concrete, dirt or grass
3. should the surrounding area have medical facilities
4. etc.
The more we know the better the recommendations.

We've stayed at Waters Edge ( http://okeechobeervpark.com/ ) beside Lake Okeechobee a couple of times and it is very nice and very reasonable, likely because it is not near much of anything except the lake and the town of Okeechobee. If you want nice weather, a very nice park and are willing to drive an hour to the east coast, this may be the spot for you, especially if you fish.

Google

Google rvparkreviews and use it to find what you want. It's always good to rely on others in the same boat. There is a small park in Sebring called Sebring Grove that is reasonable although that may not be as far south as you want. Bob T

Can not help with FL but I'm in S.E. GA just 52 miles driving from FL
Google Cathead Creek Ranch RV Park
30 amp 350/month
50 amp 375/month
(Also daily weekly and 2 week rates)
Washer 1.00/load, Dryer 1.00/load
WIFI and Cable TV included,, Full hookup nearly all sites

Not a lot nearby and not many trees but we have Dogs, Cats and occasionally horses around here. No longer a working ranch but we do have teh facilities still. Winter temps do drop below freezing but not low enough to bother a class A.

South Florida reasonable RV park, IMO anything less than $700/month is very reasonable. Once you establish a base-line you can begin the search. Our last winter in S.Florida was $1,100/month.
FWIW, Florida RV parks are fighting to survive. Usable land is scarce. Developers are buying them up as fast as they can. For instance an owner RV park co-op on the East coast, a developer came in and offered every site owner $1 million, but only if everyone sold. IT SOLD!
I just today heard the population of Florida is growing by approx. 10,000 per day due to baby-boomers retiring. That will compound the RV park price structure situation.

Snowbird Camping

In Arcadia Florida there are several parks in the $600 per month range. All pet friendly. Arcadia is in centrial Fla. Less traffic.

Craigs RV Park
Tobys RV Park
Little Willies RV Park
Big Tree RV park.

My guess is most of these still have sites available for this winter ?

From the top of FL. to Key West it is 580 miles and many hundreds of campgrounds in between.

Many may be a reasonable rate for you. If you give out what you think is reasonable with electric included in your budget.

If you want no freezes or very few at night. Best to look South of the Big Lake for a campground
