Many of the lakes and the Colo River are very low. Shasta, Meade, Orville, and many others at 30%. Unless you plan on planting a lawn or growing crops, you'll be OK here in So Cal till the water runs out.

just wondering what parks you were in or know of and would recommend down in the south west.
we are planning on travelling south from BC down the 101 to San Diego then spending some time inland around the Salton Sea/Indio Area.

Many parks in the Indio area, all price ranges and amenities, low$ up around Desert Hot Springs, to high $ , in Cathedral City, Palm Springs area. Are you looking for any activities in particular? Golf etc.?

The drought will end on or about November 17. Also the cost of fuel, which is plummeting right now, will skyrocket then too.

That's when we depart from California to go to Florida and our experience from many previous trips is that it ALWAYS rains the day we leave to dirty up the coach.

Things will clear up near Christmas when we return.
