South Padre TX RV park recommendations

Can anyone suggest some good (or bad) South Padre TX rv parks they have stayed in? We would like to stay 2 weeks or so in Feb. Thanks

Gulf Waters would be my first choice, Pioneer is not bad.

We stayed at Winterhaven in Brownsville, TX and drove to South Padre. It was probably about 30 minute drive for the day each way but not bad. Winterhaven was a nice RV Park.

While I have not parked my MH at Isla Blanca, I have relatives that have stayed there over the winter and have expressed no complaints.

We stayed at Gulf Waters a few years ago in December, this is a very nice park. They have a nice web site I would suggest you look at there site. Gulf Waters is on Mustang Island. Happy travels

We tried to book two places at Gulf Waters but they are full. Agree with you that this is a nice place.

We are, as we speak at Isla Blanc county park on South Padre Is.I only saw the Koa here but there are other county parks altho smaller. This park is fine full hookups on a pad. We are happy here. $250.00 a week.

Thanks for your input. We have stayed at Isla Blanca before and may again this time. Was hoping to find some new places. Thanks again.
