Hello everyone! joined this forum months ago but first time surfing around looking for info -located in NC- we recently purchased our first bus and planning a December get away to Florida- would love to hear your suggestions on motor coach resorts/camp grounds..I have booked a few already but want to learn as much as possible before our trip!

You might check Panama City Beach RV Resort in Panama City Beach. It's small, 69 spaces, very very clean and usually quiet. Good restaurants within walking distance, only about 100 yards from the beach. We have stayed there the last 3 years in February and March.
How far southeast do you want to travel? We winter in the Keys every year and love it. December is OK without reservations at many private parks. After Christmas it may not be so easy. Forget the state parks. They are booked 11 months ahead. It is beautiful but you pay for the location. I can give you some heads up on CGs if you like.

Woody is right and the keys are great in the fall...less people and the rates have not gone up yet. If that's too far south for you, you may want to try Miami-Everglades rv park in Redlands near Homestead. Nice quiet place but relatively close to a lot of things. I think it has Miami address if you look on campgroundreviews.com. From there you can tour Miami, Everglades, and day trip to the Keys.
By the way...where in NC are you? We are near Charlotte.
