Depends on what you call "Good".. Do you want to be near a whole bunch of stuff, Or away from it all. Lots of ammenities (Swimming, Golf, Family Center) or basically just parking.

Cathead Ranch RV Park.. (you may google) 3 miles North west from exit 49 off I-95 (Turn towards the outlet mall and go as straight as you can for 3 miles. Just before you get there the road you are on hangs a sharp right.. GO STRAIGHT onto the other road, park is the other end of the white rail fence)

We have short and long term sites, We are near full (Which is 24 Sites)_ No trees to block your Sat TV (also no shade) all RV sites save one are 20/30/50 amp with Cable TV water and sewer.. (Plus 2 tent sites (electric only) and a dump station, Showers (one each men's and woman's, RV size though) and laundry (one washer, one dryer) Monthly is 350 for 30 amp rigs and 375 for my 50 amp job. No pool, No family center Really not much to recommend it save that everyone here seems to love the place. Nice management.

Home is where I park it!

Seems to be a neat place in Savannah.

If you are going to look at the Sannah GA area, take a look at Bluffton SC. Stoney Crest Plantation Campground charges $25/night. For that, you get full hookups but no picnic table, no shade and your campsite is grass. You also get quiet adult neighbors. It seems most campers go to work, but they are friendly and the campground is quiet.

Bluffton is about 10 minutes from Hilton Head Island and about half an hour from Savannah. Bluffton itself has some nice shopping, and the old downtown area has nice restaurants, coffee shops and antique shops. Lots to do.

If you can get in. Lots of snowbirds have found this. Blythe Island County Park, Brunswick, Ga. Full hookups, cable and some sites have enough of a southern view to hit a satellite. We enjoy staying there. Short ride to Jekyll Island Saint Simons. Jacksonville is a great day trip destination.

Darien, Georgia

We are staying at Inland Harbor Rv Park , Darien, GA. Pretty nice, plenty of space , $ 35 a night lots of trees, very quiet, wifi is fast , no pool or anything like that. Cash or check only ! not a big park, no long term residents. I would stay here again , also has Skippers Fish Den , awesome seafood, I had flounder, crab cake (very good), collard greens and cheese grits, FANTASTIC.

Thank you for all your suggestions. We hope to visit them all on some weekend trips from NE Florida over the next few months! We did make some reservations for Jekyll Island Campground for a weekend in December. We will send out a review.....

Ft Mcallister SP near Savannah is ok but the no see ums are bad when it's warm. Ocmulgee SP is good, but time and again, we prefer Laura Walker SP near Waycross.
