Just a warning to fellow RVers coming to the Smoky Mtns. With the economy being what it is these days and budgets being tight,it seems that the city of Sevierville Tennessee has resorted to speed-traps.I have lived here more than 35 years and know about where they set up but now they are changing their tactics. The radar gets you as you pass another vehicle OR you get passed then the radar car gets one and the chase car gets the other. Then if you pay the fine at city hall before the court date it's $50 but if you wait till court date to pay it's $83.If the speed limit says 35 MPH do that or less and hope you don't get passed by someone going faster.

Speeding in that traffic congestion. They should be arrested and fined. We visit at least twice every year. Nearly every speeder we see has TN license plates.
