Spokane RV Parks

Anyone have any positive reports on an RV park in or immediately around Spokane WA?

We've stayed several times in Coeur d'Alene ID because we couldn't find any parks we liked on the Spokane Valley side of the city.

If you like to park along a golf course or are a golfer, there is no place better than Spokane RV Resort, wide spaces, nice grass, great club house and hot tub and pool, not to mention a great 18 hole golf course.
Spokane RV Resort - Deer Park, WA

The resort is 30 mins North of Spokane in the city of Deer Park. There are several good fishing lakes within 10 miles of the resort.

There is also one in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho about 30 mins East of Spokane... not quite as roomy as Spokane Rv Resort, but adjacent to Coeur d'Alene Lake and the town of Coeur d'Alene.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
Coeur d'Alene & Post Falls would be a better bet, as suggested, check out RV Park Reviews.

You should explain why you think it is a better bet, for those reading the posts.
I checked the Blackwell Island site to see if the price might be the reason, but their poorly designed site doesn't appear to list prices.

I for one disagree with that wholeheartedly; it's hard to beat Spokane RV Resort.

This isn't the sort of discussion that needs to get heated. We happen to enjoy the town of Coeur d'Alene and the distance from Blackwell's to where we needed to be was significantly less than the distance to Deer Park. Each person's decision is based on his own circumstances.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa... easy now...
I'm sorry that you misunderstood the intent of my post. As you can see from my original post, I mentioned Blackwell Island also, as a possiblility. I simply suggested that you give the reader the reason that you prefer the latter so they would have the information to make a choice.

Thanks for the replies on sites. As it turned out we found the Elks Lodge has sites just off exit 289. Power and water is available plus the typical hospitality found at these lodges. Worked great for just the one night we were staying. We might have tried another site if we had decided to stay longer and tour the area, but that will be another time.
