Spring Training Baseball Florida

Any recommendation on nice class A accommodating campgrounds around the Tampa, Clearwater area for baseball spring training? Adult only would be OK. Have read RV Park review but some parks have so few reviews that I'm not sure they tell the up to date story. I do need a dog park somewhat close to the site.

We stayed at Fort Desoto state park in December. One of the prettiest campgrounds I've ever been in. Not sure what you're driving, but it was a little tight maneuvering my 40'. Doable, but tight.
It's south of St. Pete, so maybe a little farther from baseball than you want to be. But it's a gorgeous place to camp.

Here is a link to the KOA in St. Petersburg. Huge Walmart up the block, the Tyrone Mall is also close.

St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA | Camping in Florida | KOA Campgrounds

Beautiful camgrounds right on the water.
You are really very close to Dunedin, Clearwater, Tampa and their spring training fields.
Also minutes to the Gulf beaches, Busch Gardens.
The weather should start to warming up down here very soon, but right now it gets a little chilly at night.
The Pinellas bike trail passes right in front of the campground if you are so inclined. Here is a link to that also: Pinellas County, Florida - Park & Conservation Resources - Pinellas County Trail Guide
