We just returned from Mark Roess Gold Branch State Park, Florida. We had a nice fairly level site with 30AMP and water. The site (#72) worked out well for our 39' MH. Nice space with fire ring/pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. Our site had trees on both sides of us making it feel very cozy. For those that like wide open spaces, there were spots available as well. There was a dump station in the area and garbage area within walking distance. Tents and smaller units were scattered around.
A lot of nice hiking trails and wild life. The park also had cabins for rent. We were there for 5 days, 4 nights and enjoyed the stay. The park is dog friendly, so our beast could roam around with us on leash of course.
Be sure to make reservations, if you have a large rig.
