Just purchased the Western Mountain guide but of course it's not where I am now. How is this route going West from Chama NM towards the Four Corner Monument?

Haven't been on U.S. 64 from Chama to Farmington, NM for a couple of years, but last time I drove it it was in good condition. It is a very nice drive; from Chama to well past Dulce, home of the Jicaria Apaches, is low mountains and alpine country. Then you transition into the northern portion of New Mexico's Bisti Badlands country and then the San Juan Basin (desert country), through Bloomfield, Farmington, and Shiprock, NM the rest of the way to the Four Corners.

Thank you. I was beginning to think that no one drove that route. Looks like a nice drive that we'll enjoy.

Come enjoy the Four Corners,,, 64 is a nice drive. Spend a few nights at Navajo Lake State Park, Durango and Mesa Verde. we just hosted some friends at the lake. they loved it. Go to their blog "Flamingo on a Stick" and check out there story.
