It is a nice place for a weekend visit. Just do not get caught in the Sunday PM traffic jam getting out of Stone Mountain. It all depends on the activities they have announced for the weekend. You'll enjoy yourself, I do when ever I stay there.

Campground is very nice, weather not so much, rain yesterday and looks like today. Site 13 is very level, should work just fine....

Just left SMCG this afternoon on the way to Disney!
Kids are excited about Disney, bit wanted to spend the might at SM a d spend this morning in the village.
We love the place. We stay 8-10 times a year for extended weekends. Very convenient to the ATL market.

Jeff if you are going to Stone Mountain do not follow a garmin it will take you
through a small town with a low clearance bridge if someone knows the right road let him know I think you stay on I 285 to the back gate

Yea, the Stone Mountain web site warns you of this. I was planning on going the I 285 route but THANKS for the info.
