Stone Mountain Georiga State Park

What a wonderful November! Good neighbors, fantastic scenery, super hiking, quiet, resonably priced firewood, (outside of park) park store, park laundry, garbage picked up, reduced monthly rate, awesome mountain, freindly staff, wonderful park sunday service, and no snow!
In an older winnebago mh using electric space heaters and shooing the fallen leaves off the roof.

Stone mountain is not a normal state park, it a Dollywood theme park.

We have day tripped from SC. Never have camped there. Can y'all give advice? DW wants to get away sans kiddos for our anniversary. I had thought about that trip in April.
We are in our 40's and don't get a weekend alone often.

I live about 40 minutes from there and generally go in April spring break, my wife is a teacher. You can go to their web site and view the attractions. They have a new section in the campground I strongly recommend.
