My wife have booked a weekend at Briar Point campground next to the resort. Although we're not there for the golf the place seems really nice. I'm looking to go back this summer to ride the motorcycle.

Does anyone have any experience at this place?

You're gonna LOVE it there. We've been there multiple times & it's the campground I judge all others by. It's not like the fancy resorts for motorcoaches, it's a campground with nice trees & views that has a lodge/resort/golf course/marina on the premesis. The sites are generous, well kept & nearly all of them have a water view. You'll see lots of local animals (deer especially). For a small fee, you can use the lodge ammenities. On cool fall evenings they light a large fire in the firepit on the back patio of the lodge & it's nice sitting in the outdoor hot tub with that going.

Check out my review of it in the Campgrounds section & also look over the photos I have of it in my albums HERE & HERE.

Enjoy your stay.

Lori-

P.S. If you have bikes, take them. Nice paved roads for riding around & even a very challenging mountain bike trail runs through the woods.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. From what we were able to learn about it from the internet and rvparkreviews.com it really seemed like a great place. We reserved site 21 since even this time of year it seems to be booked up pretty good. We're looking foreword to it even more now.

Thank you!
