I do not have a Harley, but I love to watch you guys get pumped for Sturgis. Then tell stories for months afterward.

Hope you have a great time!

For all those that have helped me on this thread.. I've started a new one for Daytona Bike Week next March...

I've thoroughly enjoyed chatting with you guys about Sturgis and other things... I thought I would continue the party...

I'm really hoping I'll get to meet some of you guys at Sturgis.. and who knows.. maybe if you didn't make it Sturgis.. you'll make it to Daytona next March..

Check it out ------> Daytona Bike Week - 2016

Eric,

Hope that you guys have a safe and enjoyable trip. It should be a blast.

Following your advice (on my post some time ago), following the factory delivery of our new coach, we will do the loop around Lake Michigan (East to West) before heading up to North Dakota. We were worried about time constraints...but no more! I gave notice at work that I am retiring. So we retire on August 7, pick up the new MH on August 10...then hit the road.

Thanks for the great advice! Hope to see you on the road someday. Have fun in Sturgis.

Thanks Jerry... I hope all goes well with your delivery.. from what I've read on the Newmar forum.. the factory delivery is the ONLY way to go..

Also.. a HUGE congratulations on the retirement ... I'm only about 15 yrs behind you.. seems like an eternity.. but I'm sure it will go by in a blink-of-an-eye...

Also.. remember.. when you're in WI.. if you need anything.. don't hesitate to give me a call !!

Eric,

Congratulations on the coach and especially retiring. I have been retired almost exactly one year now and purchased our motorhome two months after I retired. It has been the best year ever. People told me I was too young to retire (I'm 61) and and then I see the guys retiring later wishing they could still do the stuff they could at 60. Good luck and hope to see you on the road!

Hey Guys..

I need some help/advise....

I lent my Kendon Motorcycle trailer to the owner where I work this past weekend..

Well.. he returned it and one of the trailer tires lost its middle tread bar.. not sure what happened and can't explain it.. I know the date code of the tires is 3313.. so the tires are just at two years old.. and with very little miles.. maybe less than 3500 miles

My question...

Do I replace them both at the same time.. or should I just replace the one ?

The last thing I need next week is a trailer failure.. I found the brand tire and can get two new ones.. but now I'm concerned if it's a quality tire.. The name on the tire is TRANSPORTER ST RADIAL...

I have little to no experience owning a trailer, this is my first one.. what is the wise way to handle this situation ?

Thanks for the help..

Both need replacing. Trailer tires (ST) have a low speed rating. If you can get a Light Truck tire that will handle the weight...that's the way I would go. My stacker tires lasted about the same, 2 years and when they come apart fenders get a beating.
