Sugarloaf Key Florida KOA

Has anyone stayed at Surgarloaf KeyKOA in Florida? If so what's your option?

I'm not typically a fan of KOAs but the Sugarloaf location is nice. I would stay again. The restaurant across US1, Mangrove Mamas is good for a meal or two.

Sunshine Key back about mm39 is nice also.

During the season ( winters) the place is packed and you will be inches from your neighbors. Off season, it's a bit more open as not all the spots are full. They have a pool, onsite bar, boat rentals. It's a short run to American Shoals Light in the boat and fishing is usually OK out on the reef. Short drive into Key West.

We stayed there in March and the place was packed. Very tight and every bit of real estate they have has a camper on it.
